Our client is a local Estate agency who are looking to hire a Property Manager to join their growing team based in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and have excellent customer service skills. Additionally, they should be a good team player ready to join a friendly, close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- Advising Landlords and Tenants on the letting process
- Arranging and booking in viewings with potential tenants at available properties
- Selecting responsible, reliable tenants
- Preparing tenancy agreements and arranging inventories/Check Outs
- Overseeing tenant referencing
- Listing and marketing of rental properties
- Making sure all aspects meet legal requirements
- Mid Term Inspections
- Checking tenants into properties
- Liaising with landlords and tenants at the end of the tenancy on the return of deposit
- Building relations with landlords
- Advising landlords on market rents
- Arranging and organizing property maintenance
- Working with a wide range of people such as contractors, cleaners, gardeners, inventory clerks and suppliers (a non-exhaustive list)
- Dealing with any issues or problems which may arise
- Keeping up to date with changes in the law related to lettings
Requirement
- Driver’s Licence
- Excellent customer service, organised, team player
- Well-developed interpersonal and oral communications skills
- Computer Literate
- Ability to work on own initiative
