Student Accommodation Coordinator

Our client is a local Estate agency who are looking to hire a Property Manager to join their growing team based in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and have excellent customer service skills. Additionally, they should be a good team player ready to join a friendly, close-knit team.

Responsibilities

  • Advising Landlords and Tenants on the letting process
  • Arranging and booking in viewings with potential tenants at available properties
  • Selecting responsible, reliable tenants
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and arranging inventories/Check Outs
  • Overseeing tenant referencing
  • Listing and marketing of rental properties
  • Making sure all aspects meet legal requirements
  • Mid Term Inspections
  • Checking tenants into properties
  • Liaising with landlords and tenants at the end of the tenancy on the return of deposit
  • Building relations with landlords
  • Advising landlords on market rents
  • Arranging and organizing property maintenance
  • Working with a wide range of people such as contractors, cleaners, gardeners, inventory clerks and suppliers (a non-exhaustive list)
  • Dealing with any issues or problems which may arise
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the law related to lettings

Requirement

  • Driver’s Licence
  • Excellent customer service, organised, team player
  • Well-developed interpersonal and oral communications skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Ability to work on own initiative

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
