Role: Account Manager
Location: Brighton, East Sussex (Hybrid)
Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
Pay: £27,000 basic salary plus up to £15,000 OTE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a well-established service-led organisation based in Brighton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused sales professional to manage a portfolio of existing clients, build long-term relationships and support both customer retention and business growth. You will act as the main point of contact throughout the customer journey, providing a high level of service while identifying opportunities to increase account value.

The Requirements
- Previous experience within account management, sales or customer relationship management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong sales, negotiation and objection-handling abilities
- Highly organised with excellent administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and listening skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to work towards sales and margin targets
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously
- Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check where required
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term client relationships
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers and act as their main point of contact
- Deliver outstanding customer service while achieving retention and growth targets
- Build long-term relationships through regular communication and account management
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable services
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer information using CRM and internal systems
- Monitor sales performance, payment status and account profitability
- Identify opportunities to increase repeat business, referrals and account value
- Attend customer meetings and occasional external events
- Gather customer feedback and competitor information
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve service delivery and customer experience
- Work towards individual and team sales targets
