Role: Property Manager

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Hours: Full-time

Pay: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, an established and growing business based in Brighton.

This is a varied opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to manage a portfolio of residential properties. You will work closely with landlords, tenants, contractors and internal colleagues, ensuring tenancies are managed efficiently while delivering a high standard of service.

The Requirements

  • Previous experience within property management, lettings or residential property is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills and confidence using property or customer-management systems
  • Professional and proactive approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues effectively
  • Understanding of residential lettings legislation would be advantageous

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties
  • Support landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy process
  • Arrange property viewings and related appointments
  • Prepare tenancy documentation and coordinate inventories and check-outs
  • Manage tenant referencing and associated administration
  • Assist with the marketing of available properties
  • Ensure tenancy processes comply with current legal requirements
  • Carry out property inspections
  • Coordinate tenant check-ins and end-of-tenancy processes
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants regarding deposits and tenancy matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Provide guidance on rental values where appropriate
  • Arrange property maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate contractors and external suppliers
  • Resolve property and tenancy-related issues efficiently
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation and industry requirements
