Role: Sales Estimator (Engineering)
Location: Lancing, West Sussex
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm / Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm (40 hours per week)
Pay: £30,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimator (Engineering) to join one of our growing clients, a well-established engineering company based on the South Coast, in Lancing, West Sussex.

The Requirements:

• Engineering experience
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Prior experience in estimating
• Local to the area
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated
• Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail

The Role:

• Work within the Engineering Department
• Liaise with new and existing customers to define and interpret requirements to produce tender documents and/or quotations
• Assess the commercial viability of new and existing products and customers
• Ensure Engineer/Programmers and Manufacturing teams receive accurate information to deliver services and products
• Provide Management Team with updates on the status of quotations and sales
• Develop strong relationships with customers
• Identify new opportunities in new markets
